Old School Network Marketing Mistakes

The paragraph below is Taken from the ebook
"Success in 10 Steps" by Michael Dlouhy

No Good Deed Goes Unpunished: Part 1

Listen carefully.

I’m well aware your intentions were gallant:
to provide for your family all the things YOU
never had, to spend more quality time with
them, to help others like yourself grow & prosper.

And remember what happened next?

You were lied to. You were “leveraged”. The
Heavy Hitters used you for batting practice.
You got thrown in the muck, untrained,
unprepared. Your checking account was drained.
Your credit cards were maxed out. Friends &

relatives screened your phone calls.

Boy, do I ever know what that feels like.

I spent 10 years doing that with more frustration,
loss time and money than I care to mention.

And oh yes, my family and friends locked their doors
when they saw me pulling into the driveway.

Well maybe I am stretching the truth a little bit
But I could see the cringe on their face when I
told them that I was selling the next “best thing”

More rejection...How much of this can I take?

All I really wanted was to work for myself, spend
quality time with my family, do what I want, when
I want, with whom I want. Was that too much to ask?

Then I read the book, “Success in 10 Steps”

Let me tell ya, that was an eye opener. I was
doing network marketing the old school way.
I could not be successful that way.

There were many ah ah moments as I read and
reread the book. A lot of my questions were answered
in chapter 9 and 10.

Now I understand how network marketing works.

It is simple, and fun to do. It does take time and effort
on my part to work my business, but the rewards are
great because what I work for today will be there to pay
my childrens children.
