How many times in our profession have we been
in this situation?
Garbage can with hair on top?
One of my subscribers describes his "worthless sponsor" as a "garbage can with hair on top."
Why?
It seems his worthless sponsor continues to put negative thoughts inside of his head. He watches the news, reads the newspaper, listens to gossip, complains about politics, and watches reality television.
Why put so much negative garbage inside of our heads when there is so much positive in life? That's why listening to self-improvement CDs and reading self-improvement books help us create a more positive mindset.
Now, I don't believe having a positive mind is enough. Of course we need the skills to go with this.
My belief is that a positive mind alone won't make us successful, but a negative mind certainly can prevent success in our lives.
